India lost the wicket of Virat Kohli for 48 but Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane kept the score moving against Sri Lanka in the fourth Asia Cup 2014 match at Fatullah. India are on 162 for two in 33 overs.

Kohli was beaten on the defense by Ajantha Mendis. Kohli failed to read the carom ball and tried to close the face of his bat but the ball passed his outside edge and hit the stumps.

Dhawan has done well to score his sixth ODI fifty and is well on his way for his ton. Dhawan initially went for his strokes but found the runs hard to come by. While Rohit Sharma failed to adapt, Dhawan’s confidence quickly built up as he drove Lasith Malinga through the covers and followed it up with a push to get two consecutive boundaries. He then started playing with soft hands and collected the quick singles.
