South Africa’s cricket board, Cricket South Africa (CSA) might have hacked into the mails of the franchises. One of the franchise has confirmed the Proteas board was spying on them while other franchises are suspecting that they might have faced the same as well.

According to the report published on the blog of journalist Telford Vice, three other franchises were ‘shocked’ and ‘alarmed’ and considered it unethical practice by the CSA.

“Maybe we’re being paranoid, maybe we’re not. But if we catch them there will be s**t,” a franchise official was quoted as saying by the report published in the blog.

Reacting to the statements CSA President Chris Nenzani said, “It is very difficult to comment on something like this. My advice is that they (the affected franchise) must approach the law enforcement agencies of this country.”
